Intel can make a serious mistake by an ex-worker! (Updated)
François Piednoël shared information on a social site that a major chip maker would not use the "Extreme Edition" in the future - he believes the marketing department is making a big mistake.
That gentleman, 20, strengthened Intel for years, has been involved in developing CPU architectures such as Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, Haswell, Broadwell, Skylake, and Kaby Lake. "Extreme Edition" was, of course, the privilege of the most complex processors, for example Core i9-7980XE, Core i7-5960XE, and Core i7 975, which did not even spin at the time - the latter being released in 2009 but nowadays nor is it far out of a mid-range model.
We look forward to what changes will be made in the marketing strategy in the future, according to the current trend, for example. the following signs are expected: Silver, Gold, Platinum.
Intel has already commented on the case, claiming there is no change, so the "Extreme Edition" remains.
