With 240 Hz upgrade, people are excited about HP Apple 15
Such a display has never been on a portable computer.
On CES 2019, HP unveiled the new Omen 15 gaming laptop. According to the company, this is the first machine to display 240 Hz refresh. The 15,6-inch IPS display also has an 1080p resolution, so the new NVIDIA RTX 2070 Max-Q and the Intel Core i7-8750H processor, which cannot be called old, will certainly be able to fully serve this. The image below also shows that the monitor responds to 4 ms. The 16 GB system memory is basically a basic requirement for a gaming device, and perhaps 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) is not necessarily a part of it.
Compared to its performance, Omen 15 is relatively low-profile, and the 2,4 kg weight also seems to be an acceptable value. The spectacular X-pattern of the cover and the illuminated zones on the keyboard are of course still extremely attractive, as are the WASD buttons.
The basic version of Omen 15 will start in February, starting with $ 1 370. Copies with the 240 Hz display will only start in July, their expected price is not yet known - it can be seen that we will see quite a hit!
