Ulefone Armor series - blow and waterproof phones for eternity

Introductory

Among mobile phones, rugged phones represent a very unique genre. They are made for a relatively small layer, as they have many disadvantages due to their many advantages such as impact and water resistance. Of these, it is worth highlighting the thick cover due to the impact resistance, which makes these phones thicker, thicker and heavier than average.

The point, then, is that these phones are sought after by people who are forced to use them due to some special circumstance. It may be a need arising from work or a dangerous hobby, in my case, for example, it has become questionable to buy a cheaper laptop due to motorcycling.

To keep up with my own example, I currently ride a sports tour motor (only above 10 degrees) and on the motor I am unable to use a traditional, lockable, waterproof phone holder due to the design of the handlebars. And I need a phone, because even if I'm not used to calling while driving, navigation on longer hikes is essential. So the point is that your phone is exposed to the environment. Fire on the sun, soak in the rain, and anyway, it is exposed to quite a strong vibration. What is the solution? Obviously a hard phone!

Ulefone has been proving this with the Armor family for years. Their devices are marketed with age-appropriate hardware, and feedback suggests they really stand the test of time. For this reason, in this article, we’ll take a brief look at the available mobiles called Armor, moving from the cheapest to the most expensive.

Ulefone Armor X2

The cheapest member of the Armor family is the X2. Although it has hardware that seems weak compared to top phones, I think it will be enough for almost anything these days, especially if we’re talking about a phone used specifically for work and not gaming.

Ulefone Armor X2 3G Phablet 5.5 inch Android 8.1 MT6580 Quad-core 1.3GHz 2GB RAM 16GB ROM 13.0MP + 5.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 5500mAh Built-in - Rose Gold European Union

The Armor X2 features MediaTek’s quad-core 1,3GHz processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. This power, this speed for basic phone operations is untig enough, and of course spins on it without any problems with a navigation software as well. At most, we need to be careful not to want to run many programs at once, because that will be 2 GB of memory.

In other capabilities, it can take on a full mobile, as the HD + display is 5,5 inches and has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, the cameras are 13 + 5 megapixels on the back and an 8 megapixel sensor on the front. I wouldn’t even say this build is bad in its category, and compared to its price, it’s completely there for the agent.

The cheapness only strikes in an instant, with this phone you don’t have to ask if it supports the B20 800 MHz LTE band because no LTE radio is included at all. In other words, we can only wave to the transmission towers that broadcast broadband from afar, it will not be good for anything else.

I recommend it for those who don’t need the net, they just want to make a phone call and of course keep the screen from breaking the first time they sit on it or drop it.

The current price of the phone is HUF 31, for which duty and VAT free Priority Line delivery is free.

Ulefone Armor X

The Armor X2 discussed earlier is the dumb version of this phone, or vice versa, the Armor X is an improved version of the X2.

For this reason, I will not elaborate on this phone. There are only three differences between them, though two of them are significant! One is that although it also has a quad-core processor, a more powerful piece spinning up to 1,5 GHz has been included. The second is that this phone has already got an LTE radio, this fortunately also got the B20 800 MHz support so the mobilnet can be lurking there in our pockets. The third, less specific change is that the Bluetooth version is not 4.1 but 4.2, but this is suspected to be because the CPU (along with the processor) is a more modern type.

If you are a person for whom mobilnet is important, but you still do not want to spend your monthly salary on mobile, choose the plain X version instead of Armor X2. Although the price is higher, it is still plentiful!

You can buy a Ulefone mobile phone for 46 forints, and the priority and VAT-free Priority Line delivery is free of charge. Click here to buy: Ulefone Armor X

Ulefone Armor 5

The weird situation was that the Armor 5, which is one of the most modern phones in the series, is priced under the Armor 2 and Armor 3. Of course, there is a reason for this, I will tell you what.

The Ulefone Armor 5 stands out a bit from the Armor series. This phone has been touted as the world’s first notch IP68 phone, so I’d rather call it a rugged fashion phone. From this it is already conceivable that although many of his valuable abilities have survived, some of us have to say goodbye, these have been sacrificed on the altar of beauty.

Ulefone Armor 5 4G Phablet 5.85 inch Android 8.1 Oreo MTK6763 Octa Core 2.0GHz 4GB RAM 64GB ROM 16.0MP + 5.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 5000mAh Built-in- Blue

The Armor 5 can even be said to be beautiful in its own way. Rubberization is on the edges only, so it’s not so crowded, quite a phone-like structure. What was left out is compliance with the more serious military standard, Armor 3 knows this, the pedometer that was included in version two, the heart monitor, protractor and barometer, which are included in both versions two and three.

So the Armor 5 is a nice phone, a strong phone, a good phone, but it missed out on its rugged phone capabilities. There will be no complaints about the hardware, the 2 GHz eight-core proci is adequate, as is the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. The display is 5,85 inches, which is not a distinctive feature, it has a resolution of HD +, ie 1512 x 720 pixels. It has everything you need anyway, a stack of sensors, wifi supporting ac standards and a 5000 mAh battery.

I recommend this phone to people like me. I need water resistance, it doesn’t hurt if it doesn’t break when it falls on its heels, but I don’t need the brutal strapphone capabilities. In return, the exterior can even be undertaken by putting it on the table at a hearing.

A strong harvder already comes at a price, though we don’t have to talk about hundreds of thousands. At the moment we have to leave 65 thousand forints at the checkout for it, but at least here the priority and VAT free Priority Line delivery is free.

Ulefone Armor 3

Ulefone Armor 3 is made for those who really work in extreme conditions.

This phone does not comply with IP68 but with a much stricter IP69K standard. This means that it can withstand 2 hours at a depth of 2 meters, and 24 hours under one meter of water, as well as being dropped from the 120 cent. As an addition to the IP69K, not only does it survive underwater operation, it also needs to be able to withstand serious water pressure even when it is discharged in the beam. Operation is guaranteed in either 60 degrees or 90 percent humidity. So this can be used almost everywhere on earth.

Ulefone Armor 3 4G Phablet 5.7 inch Android 8.1 Oreo Helio P23 (MT6763T) Octa Core 2.5GHz 4GB RAM 64GB ROM 21.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 10300mAh Built-in- Orange

In addition to extreme abilities, there are also “normal” cordless phone features such as barometer, compass, heart monitor, gravity sensor and gyroscope, but none of this phone has missed the NFC.

The hardware is quite combos, though it's a little bit dusty anymore. Helio P23 central unit with eight 2,5 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM, n standard wifi. The display cannot be charged by the accuser, the 5,7 col is the diagonal, but the resolution is the best ever, 2160 x 1080 pixels. We also get cameras, and on the back we can take pictures with an 21 megapixel sensor on the front panel.

So Ulefone Armor 3 is a mobile with extreme abilities for those who don't know the compromise and the least of their phones.

The price is currently HUF 74, which is again only free of duty and VAT free Priority Line delivery. Click here to buy your phone: Ulefone Armor 3

Ulefone Armor 2

Although the phone is still available, there is no reason to buy it. The hardware is weaker than the triple version, we can't find IP69K water resistance either. In addition, the hardware is more obsolete from the display to the processor to the cameras, and the battery capacity is smaller. The only plus compared to the three is the pedometer, but I think we’re fine without a phone.

Ulefone Armor 2 4G Smartphone Android 7.0 5.0 inch Helio P25 Octa Core 2.6GHz 6GB RAM 64GB ROM IP68 Waterproof NFC 16.0MP Rear Camera- Golden

The point is, in my opinion, you want to buy this phone at most if you stick to the shape for some reason, and that’s exactly what you like. Otherwise, you’d rather stay with version three or, if you’re spending more money on a phone, read the description for the current top model!

If you want to buy it, you can get 77 thousand forints with free delivery. You can find it here: Ulefone Armor 2

Ulefone Armor 3T

The 3T is a really special phone (from its name it can be assumed that it is a special version of Armor 3), so the price is also special, but it is still well below 100 thousand forints.

Ulefone Armor 3T 4G Phablet 5.7 Inch Android 8.1 Oreo Helio P23 (MT6763T) Octa Core 2.5GHz 4GB RAM 64GB ROM 21.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 10300mAh Built-in- Black

Let's start with the extras! Let’s start with the fact that this phone also complies with the IP69K standard like the Armor 3. I won’t go into that separately, I described the main features there. The second extra is that the phone has a walkie-talkie function, which means that you do not have to charge your phone bill within a distance of 7-10 kilometers. The third is that the mobile has a very combo 10 mAh battery, which in my experience with the central unit and other hardware in it can result in up to a week of operation under normal use. Fourth is the NFC feature complemented by the Google Pay payment solution, and fifth is the 300-megapixel Sony sensor in the back camera.

Ulefone Armor 3T 4G Phablet 5.7 Inch Android 8.1 Oreo Helio P23 (MT6763T) Octa Core 2.5GHz 4GB RAM 64GB ROM 21.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 10300mAh Built-in- Black

Of course, as with previous phones, it has all the other capabilities you need. The hardware is compatible with the Helio P23 proci, 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, just as there should be no problem with the 5,7-inch FHD + display.

Ulefone Armor 3T 4G Phablet 5.7 Inch Android 8.1 Oreo Helio P23 (MT6763T) Octa Core 2.5GHz 4GB RAM 64GB ROM 21.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 10300mAh Built-in- Black

I recommend this phone again to those who expose their phone to the harshest conditions, but still need the power of the hardware, the huge capacity of the battery, and the walkie-talkie feature. The price is high, but knowing the capabilities is understandable. The box office will ask for HUF 88 for it, delivery with Priority Line delivery free of duty and VAT is still free.

Ulefone Armor 6

The Ulefone Armor 6 is the newest, most powerful member of the series, it knows everything and more.

Ulefone Armor 6 4G Phablet 6.2 inch Android 8.1 OS Helio P60 (MT6771) Octa-core 2.0GHz 6GB RAM 128GB ROM 8.0MP Front Camera Fingerprint Sensor Corning Gorilla Glass 5 5000mAh Built-in IP68- Black European Union

If you don’t bet the generous hundreds of thousands on the price of a rugged phone, then Armor 6 is for you. Everything that can be built into is built into this phone. Its protection is IP69K, which means that it meets military standards in terms of impact, water and dust resistance. Still, it looks good! We don’t get the old lame monster for our money, though in fact, Armor 6 is still much larger than an average phone.

Ulefone Armor 6 4G Phablet 6.2 inch Android 8.1 OS Helio P60 (MT6771) Octa-core 2.0GHz 6GB RAM 128GB ROM 8.0MP Front Camera Fingerprint Sensor Corning Gorilla Glass 5 5000mAh Built-in IP68- Black European Union

You will have no complaints about the hardware. The Helio P60 central unit, which also includes an advanced artificial intelligence processor with its eight cores and 2 GHz clock, provides enough power for everything. You can’t complain about the memory or the built-in storage either, as the former 6 is 128 GB. It also stands out from the field due to its 6,2-inch, 2246 x 1080 pixel display and three cameras (16 + 8 MP, 8 MP) and a combos with a 5000 mAh battery. Here, too, is NFC, a multitude of radios that make it usable in virtually every country on earth. As an extra, we even get a wireless charge and UV test, so even if your sunscreen isn’t, the Ulefone Armor 6 is sure to protect you from sunburn.

The hardware that meets all the requirements of today, the abundance of capabilities, the compliance with the IP69K standard, and last but not least, the costly external money, no less. We have to pay 103 thousand forints for the mobile phone, but if you need an all-resistant and strong phone, you will not spend that much money on it.

Closing Remarks

As can be seen from the above, the Ulefone Armor series consists largely of uncompromising mobiles. Real blood-strapped phones that won’t break easily, won’t get soaked, and won’t be ruined by a little desert sand. The goods are a little higher than similar phones with similar hardware, but really just a little, so if you’re looking for a new phone and need IP68 or even IP69K protection, don’t hesitate to choose from the Ulefone Armor series !
