1 million sold LG Optimus One

The popular smartphone with Android 2.2 broke the company’s sales record in just over a month.

Named the LG Electronics Optimus One, the smartphone has reached 40 million units sold worldwide within 1 days of its launch. With this, Optimus One, available in most European, Asian and Oceanian countries, as well as in the United States, has crossed the 1 million magic mark the fastest in the company’s history.

Offered with Android 2.2 “Froyo” operating system and optimized for Google Mobile Services applications, the LG Optimus One has been particularly successful among first-time smartphone buyers over the past month.

The global market launch of Optimus One is still ongoing, as a result of which the new smartphone will be available from 120 service providers and distributors. LG expects the Optimus One to be the first smartphone in the company’s history to reach 10 million sales.

The LG Optimus One will be available in Hungary from November, including in the LG Mobile brand store at a gross recommended retail price of HUF 79.
