12 megapixel camera on Sony Ericsson's latest mobile phone

The megapixel war cannot end.

Every year, the Japanese-Swedish manufacturer takes seriously the opportunities provided by the Mobile World Congress, so it is now traditionally here that they present their promising products to the press for the first time. In light of this, it is not at all surprising that this year they also unveiled one of their latest playing cards within the framework of the event, which is currently known as "Idou" in the absence of an official classification. The leaked data about the device is really impressive: WLAN and GPS compatibility, a 12-megapixel camera with xenon flash, a 3,5-inch touch-sensitive display and the Symbian S60 5th Edition operating system characterize the mobile phone.

Idou can hit store shelves in early 2009 at the earliest.
