They don’t wait any longer, so the (unofficial) successor to the R9 Nano is coming soon. For now, the little stuff is pretty ugly, but that may still change.

The existence of the Vega-based “Nano” graphics card has been confirmed, this time from the private performance of PowerColor. This means that officially it will not be an RX Vega Nano SKU, but an RX Vega 56 Nano Edition.

The product will launch on Computex in two weeks, so PowerColor hasn’t revealed all the secrets yet. We got a picture of the video card being made, which still shows that the power supply follows the reference model (a 6-pin and an 8-pin input). Obviously, only a fan could fit on the significantly shortened printed circuit board, presumably due to somewhat subdued consumption, this will also be sufficient. It is also worth keeping in mind that the factory driver will be able to adjust the power consumption of the device and the speed of the agitator within a very wide range, so quiet operation can be solved in any case, only this can lead to some deceleration.
