Introducing the Sony Xperia S

Sony has officially unveiled its smartphone, which has become a celebrity under the name Nozomi.

Sony has officially announced its new device, the Xperia St. More people have been familiar with the device since recently, as we also reported it several times when information was released about it, but at the time it was still running under the code name Nozomi. 

The Xperia S has a 4,3-inch display with a resolution of 720 × 1280. Android Gingerbread is powered by dual-core, 1,5 GHz ticking CPUs backed by 1GB of RAM. The news is that the novelty will of course get Ice Cream Sandwich in the future. There is a 12 Megapixel optics on the back and a 1,3 Megapixel optics on the front. The smartphone will be available on store shelves with 16 and 32 GB of internal memory towards the end of the first quarter. The price is not yet known.
