IGO has introduced itself in Croatia

At the product presentation in Zagreb, our southern neighbors also got to know the Hungarian-developed iGO GPS navigation software.

On October 2005, 5, Navigo Sistem, the Croatian distributor of iGO, introduced the SD memory card version of the iGO GPS navigation software. In addition to the press staff, representatives of some handheld computer distribution and navigation companies were present at the product presentation at the elegant golf club near Zagreb. Journalists were able to try out the program on their own handhelds. Among those invited were foreigners. A representative of the Slovenian navigation company Geoset was among the first to try out the new software. Jure Mohorie said he is confident that Slovenian motorists will also be able to get to know iGO as soon as possible. IGO Hrvatska i BiH 2005 | The program, called SD módon, contains, as usual from iGO, the most accurate and detailed digital map of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina currently available. The POI database is also plentiful: the iGO memory card offers 5300 “places of interest”. However, the program currently uses only Croatian and English menus and navigation sounds, and is only available in Croatia.

“Of course, there is a demand from Hungarian users for the Croatian map version of iGO, however, we will not launch it on the market here as a stand-alone product. With this decision, we want to save iGO users, as the iGO Eastern Europe map package will be available soon, and the Croatian map will be part of it, so customers can get it at a better price than if they bought it separately. ” - stated Attila Kátai, Managing Director of Nav N Go Kft., The developer of iGO.
In any case, more impatient users can buy the product now for 897 Kuna (121 Euro).
