Computex: ASUS Lamborghini VX6S netbook with Radeon graphics
Modeled from the Lamborghini, the VX6’s premium-grade netbook has been given a new interior, and Computex has also been exhibited by ASUS.
In the name of the model dubbed the VX6S, the S probably refers to the word Speed (i.e. speed), as both the previous Atom D525 CPU and the NVIDIA ION GPU have been dropped by the new version. A new Atom chip and Radeon HD 6470M video card have been added to the netbook from the processor, which has not been named yet. On the outside, we get almost the same bright, sports car-inspired design. The display is a 12,1-inch, 1366 × 768 pixel resolution, LED-backlit solution. We get 500 GB from the hard drive (plus the same amount of web storage) compared to the previous 250/320 gigabytes. The new version also comes with 4GB of RAM support, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a card reader and a 6-cell battery.
In addition to Windows 6 Home Premium, the ASUS Lamborghini VX7S will also feature the manufacturer’s Express Gate instant operating system. We don't have information about price and appearance yet.
