Is AMD Vega selling so well?

The smaller processor manufacturer at Computex boasted that the number of Vega chips delivered was already ten times higher than the previous generation.

Somewhat surprisingly, AMD by the predecessor model did not mean the logically expected Polaris family, but until the release of the Fury in 2015 (Radeon R9 Fury X, R9 Nano and Radeon R9 Fury). For our part, we would have been curious about the exact numbers, but unfortunately this was not revealed in the presentation either.

Sales of Vega-based graphics cards have certainly been hampered by cryptography, and the chip has only really been able to highlight its capabilities in this area. The big question is what the Radeon Gaming brand will do in the near future, because with prices falling, perhaps a sharp competitive situation will emerge again.
