Will ATI disappear soon?

Instead of the famous brand name, the name of the owner will appear everywhere according to current rumors.

In 2006, AMD acquired Canadian-based ATI Technologies for no small amount of money. However, after the promotion, the red brand name did not disappear from the market, the video cards were still marketed as ATI Radeon. This looks set to end soon, as several sources, including the ATI Forum, have reported that next year the ATI brand will disappear permanently in the sink, and instead we will see the owner's name, or AMD. This move can be traced back to marketing and financial reasons, as it only requires spending on a single brand name, which can save a substantial amount of money, and AMD can further promote its reputation. Of course, this also means that laptops and OEM machines will have the AMD logo instead of the red logo. It will be very strange to many that in the case of machines with Intel processors, in addition to Intel, the AMD logo will also be present.

ATI will be gone soon

ATI Forum staff approached AMD officials, but they did not comment on the rumors, meaning they did not confirm it, but at the same time did not refute it, so continue to treat the above as unofficial information!
