HTC Sensation XL comes with a huge display
HTC's new Sensation XL has been introduced.
It’s not entirely clear why the Sesnation XL got its name from the device HTC has just introduced, as we can’t find too many commonalities between the two devices either externally or by browsing the specification.
The Sensation XL has a display of no less than 4,7 inches. Although some HD resolution would already be required for a display of this size, the manufacturer still thought that 800 × 480 pixels would be appropriate. The proper speed of Android 2.3 is ensured by Qualcomm's MSM 1,5 chip running at 8255 GHz complete with Adreno 205 GPU. Memorable moments can be captured with the 28mm, wide-angle, 8 Mpixel optics.
The power supply is provided by a 1600 mAh battery, which is questionable as to how much will be enough for a display of this size. A Beats Audio headset is also included in the basic package. The novelty may be on store shelves in November, the price is not yet known.
