Mobile rather than sex?

Nowadays, our mobile phone accompanies us everywhere. With its vibrating sound and melody ringing, sometimes even in the bedroom, it provides soft background music on a night of love.

When it comes to choosing between a “hunk” and a phone, 22 percent (30 percent of women) give up bodily pleasures sooner than their cell phones, according to Ipsos ’latest international Global @dvisor survey, conducted in 24 countries.

The picture is different for each region. Latin Americans and southern Europeans give up less love (10%) than “hand talking”, while residents of the Asia-Pacific region prefer to hang (31%) the former activity over the latter. We Hungarians are closer to the hot-blooded than the technocratic Far East in this matter.

The good news for manufacturers and distributors is that people’s relationship with their mobile phones is unwaveringly close.
