On the slope of Intel, sales are not improving
We analyze the sales of German Mindfactory, one of Europe’s largest computer retailers, although what we have seen does not require any particular investigation.
No mercy, AMD Ryzen has taken the lead in virtually every market sector, the main points can be summarized as follows:
- The Ryzen 5 2600 is the most popular processor for under € 200, followed by the Ryzen 7 2700X (somewhat surprisingly, this type is more sought after than the Ryzen 7 2700);
- The average selling price of AMD processors has pretty much stagnated, with Intel experiencing further increases;
- On the Intel side, these models have made more serious sales: Core i9-9900K, Core i7-9700K, i5-9600K and i5-9400F.
Thus, AMD also benefited in terms of CPU sales (69-31%) and in terms of revenue in the first months of the year (mainly due to demand for Ryzen 7 2700X and Ryzen Threadripper). the difference was much smaller. It is important to note that Mindfactory does not give a picture of the whole market, but we do not think it is a bad reference.
