Puma is expanding its offer with a mobile phone

The noble simplicity of the device, named only "PUMA PHONE", is not ashamed of its knowledge, as it has all the functions that can be expected from a mobile phone with a sporty spirit. The specification includes, among other things, the 2,8-inch touch-sensitive display, the 3,2 megapixel camera, the FM radio and Bluetooth, but the GPS receiver and the 3,5 mm audio output were not left out of the repertoire. , as well as a socket for microSD cards. Of particular note is the software package, which, in addition to the digital compass, also includes speedometer and pedometer applications. The only serious negative of the device, which is also compatible with HSDPA networks, is the lack of a Wi-Fi module, which may discourage many from purchasing it. The built-in battery, which has a nominal capacity of only 880 mAh, is not too strong either. Despite this, it is expected that there will be no problem with the operating time, as the PUMA PHONE is also equipped with a solar cell, thanks to which the device can supply the weak power source with extra energy under suitable light conditions.

The market acceptance of the novelty from the Sagem workshop is still questionable for the time being, but considering the price tag of 400 euros (approximately 110 thousand forints), we do not consider it probable that we can greet one of the successful models of 2010 in the big cat mobile.
