According to the latest information, Microsoft has completed the candidate version of Windows Phone 8.

I think that a big burden is on the "back" of WP8, since it is currently the only operating system that has a chance to squeeze Android and iOS a little. Microsoft's system has now entered the RTM phase, which means that the version designated for production has been completed. From now on, there will be no significant changes in the system that appears, so manufacturers can start optimizing for the devices. Although there is currently no detailed list of changes available, we already know that the new system supports the NFC chip, multi-core processors and 720p or even higher resolution. The release is definitely expected sometime in October.
