Finally, here is the final specification for the ATI Radeon HD 5830

AMD’s latest high-end graphics card, the Radeon HD 5830, will be released on February 25th.

The GPU specifications come as no surprise, we get what we expected pretty much. It is based on the AMD Cypress 40nm GPU with 1120 stream processors, 256-bit memory interface, GDDR5, 16 ROPs and 56 TMUs. Clocks are set at 800 MHz (core) and 4000 MHz (memory). The memory bandwidth is 128 GB / s.

With these specifications, AMD targets the $ 200 to $ 250 price range and is positioned between the HD 5770 and HD 5850. However, the consumption of the card may be higher than that of the 5850. This may be because a non-digital power supply circuit appears to be used, hopefully this will not have a decisive effect on tunability.

The Radeon HD 5830 comes with 1GB of memory and support for ATI Eyefinity technology. Of course, with the same display controls as the Radeon HD 5870, the card can operate up to six physical displays. Manufacturers will most likely not sell reference cards, so you don’t have to wait long for the PCS +, VaporX, or IceQ + versions.
