Finally here is Catalyst 12.2

The February Catalyst arrived in an unusual way in March. The reason is due to the release of Windows 8 beta, as programmers are already trying to prepare for the new operating system.

The Microsoft WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) certified Catalyst 12.2 driver has been released for Windows 7, Vista and XP. The driver supports Radeon HD 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 series graphics cards and Fusion APUs. Catalyst 12.2 already officially supports Radeon HD 7700 and 7900 series video cards, but only on Windows 7 and Vista - Windows XP owners will have to wait for the April release. On the latter series, the SSAA (Super-sampling Anti-Aliasing) image enhancement procedure can already be enabled, but only under DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 applications. An additional restriction is that the selected program must support anti-aliasing.

Catalyst 12.2 creates the ability to apply custom resolutions to AMD Eyefinity systems. The drive can dynamically manage the profile for different displays if a new monitor is connected or one of the ones currently in use is disconnected. HydraVision has also been improved: positioning the tray has become easier. Of course, bug fixes have also been made. Most of these are related to Crossfire and Eyefinity, but improvements have also been made to 3D Blu-ray content. The complete list here visible.AMD-Catalyst-20111

Don't be surprised to see version 12.3 in the Catalyst Control Center software update section. This is a natural phenomenon.
