Windows Mobile 7 Hardware Requirements - Beware, Shock!

You may not want to know… Maybe we've never wanted a news duck so much…

Microsoft's otherwise highly secretly developed operating system for the next mobile device, Windows Mobile 7, is expected to be announced at the Mobile World Congress in February. If only at rumor level, but some data regarding WinMo 7 system requirements has been omitted. Attention, reading the following lines is only recommended for those with strong nerves, I myself have not been able to come to terms with it yet!

These data are said to be "thanked" to Yevgeny Pavlov, the celebrity of HTC Russia, according to whom the device intends to run Windows Mobile 7 with a 3,6" display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, 8 GB of internal memory, and a 1 GHz processor. , it should also have a 5-megapixel camera, an accelerometer and a compass (I think they mean the gyroscope).

Let's assume that this information is correct. If this is the case, WinMo 7's requirements are extremely exaggerated. We know that the official release of the operating system is still far away, the manufacturers can prepare well before the start, and then the funny "Designed for WinMo7" stickers will come. But what will happen to those who bought a device in the past or recently (I know, blame them...)? The fact that my Samsung Omnia, which can be considered very old, is already dying at the display, but that, for example, an Omnia 2, which can still be considered quite fresh today, is excluded from the basket due to the 8 GB internal memory criteria and the 1 GHz CPU, is a bit it can open in the pocket of the poor WinMo user.

Of course, it is more likely (at least we hope) that the above data will not, or not always, be true when the system requirements are officially announced, as users of old, loyal Windows Mobile are also aware of the weaknesses of the operating system and the need for significant improvements. in need, so it is understandable that they do not want to be left out of the novelty.
