MWC 2008: Internet-enabled phone from Sony Ericsson
Unveiled at the MWC in Barcelona, the Sony Ericsson is promoting the Z770 as a device optimized for the internet.
According to Martin Winkler, director of marketing at Sony Ericsson, the Z770 handset may be the optimal choice for users who regularly check their e-mail while traveling, sometimes connect to the World Wide Web, but still do not take advantage of the services provided by smartphones or PDAs. In this spirit, the novelty of the Japanese-Swedish joint venture will make life easier for its owner with a NetFront browser, an easily configurable email client, Google Maps support and a built-in RSS reader.
