We present – Silicon Power Stream S10

We should admit after measures the speed will not problem. If we browse previous Silicon Power articles, become clear this USB 3.0 device is quicker than its ancestor series, for all that they have same theoretical bandwidth (and same interface). And it is good!

We even did not mention two things. Firstly, Silicon Power's external drive look good, but the shiny finish can be scratched easily. The very kind –bundled– carrying poch solves that problem. You can see it in the following picture.

The second thing what we need to talk about is the software, called SP Widget. We can backup files from our computer. We can sync Documents folder, Favorites from web-browser, Outlook or Outlook express datas or rather we can set optional folders too. So you will find not only your carried files in the device, it can help after a system crash too.

We left the technical datas to the finish of review. The Stream S10 measures 134,1 × 78,8 × 17,7 mm, weights 145 grams. It can work at USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) and USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) mode too. It connects with USB 3.0 cable to the computer and it not claims external power source. The manufacturer offers the drive with four sizes: 320-, 500-, 640- and 750 GB.
